Dr. Simmi Manocha

Dr. Simmi Manocha (née Malhotra) is a Cardiologist with over a decade of experience in non-invasive cardiology procedures. She is currently the Head of Department and Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology, at Asian Institute of Medical Sciences in Faridabad. Her specialisation is in the areas of radial angiography and device implantation.

Dr. Simmi Manocha completed her MBBS from Punjabi University in 1993 before going on to obtain her post-graduation MD degree from the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana. She superseded this with the DM (Cardiology) qualification in 2003. She was attached to the Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi as Attending Cardiologist from 2003 to 2007, and the Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, as Consultant Cardiologist from 2007 to 2009. Her next stint was at the QRG Central Hospital, Faridabad where she was the Chief of Non-invasive Cardiology, until January 2010, after which she moved to her present location.

Dr. Manocha has authored several papers and chapters in books and course material, related to her areas of professional interest. Many of her co-authored papers have been published in various peer-reviewed journals. Besides being a member of medical associations, she has attended numerous conferences across the country and internationally, at which she has also made several presentations in her field of expertise. In addition to this, Dr. Simmi Manocha has conducted many workshops and delivered a large number of lectures and talks at various symposia across the country.
